Global Day of Praise 2026
August 14th, 2026
Welcome to the Global Day of Praise with One Million Souls for Christ. Today, believers around the world are invited to pause, turn their hearts toward God, and celebrate who He is through Scripture, prayer, thanksgiving, and worship. Throughout this devotional journey, we will reflect on His greatness, majesty, glory, holiness, and eternal power, giving Him the honor and praise that belongs to Him alone. Check out some of our prayer videos on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
May these prayers draw your heart closer to God and inspire you to make praise a daily way of life.
The Greatness of God
Every blessing we enjoy, every breath we take, and every victory we experience ultimately belongs to the Lord. In 1 Chronicles 29:11, King David declared that greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty all belong to God because everything in heaven and on earth is His.
Today, pause to praise Him not only for what He has done, but for who He is.
Let this truth fill your heart with awe and gratitude.
As you pray, remember that the God who created all things is worthy of your worship every day.
The Majesty of God
When we look at creation, we see reminders of God's greatness. The heavens declare His glory, the earth displays His wisdom, and His works reveal His power.
Psalm 104:1 calls us to bless the Lord because He is clothed with honor and majesty. God does not receive glory because we make Him great—He is already great.
Our praise simply recognizes the greatness that has always belonged to Him.
Today, let your heart be filled with worship. Remember that the same God who created the universe knows you, loves you, and invites you into His presence.
May our lives continually declare:
The Lord is great.
The Lord is majestic.
The Lord is worthy of all praise.
The Glory of God
Every part of creation points to the glory of its Creator. The heavens declare His greatness, the earth reveals His wisdom, and all creation reflects His handiwork.
Psalm 19:1 reminds us that God's glory is not hidden. It is displayed before our eyes. Isaiah 6:3 gives us a glimpse into heavenly worship, where angels continually proclaim the holiness and glory of God.
As we praise Him today, may we not only admire His glory but reflect it.
May our lives, our families, and our actions point others toward Jesus Christ.
The whole earth is filled with His glory.
The Holiness of God
Among all the attributes of God, His holiness is unique. Scripture does not simply say that God is holy—it declares that He is holy, holy, holy.
The repetition reveals the perfection and greatness of His holiness. God is completely pure, completely righteous, and completely worthy of worship.
When Isaiah encountered God's holiness, his response was humility and reverence. When we truly understand who God is, our hearts are drawn into worship.
Today, let us join heaven's declaration:
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts.
May His holiness transform our hearts and may our lives reflect His glory.
All Glory Belongs to God
Human nature often seeks recognition, but Scripture reminds us that God alone deserves the glory.
Psalm 115:1 gives us a powerful declaration:
"Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory."
Every gift, every opportunity, every victory, and every blessing flows from God's goodness and mercy.
When we give God the glory, our hearts remain humble and our lives become testimonies of His faithfulness.
May everything we say and do point others to Jesus Christ.
To God alone be the glory, forever.
Praise Before the Throne
The worship of God is not limited by borders, languages, or cultures.
Revelation gives us a glimpse of a glorious day when a multitude from every nation stands before God's throne and declares His worthiness.
God's kingdom is a global kingdom. His salvation reaches every people. His love extends to every nation.
As we participate in the Global Day of Praise, we are joining a song that has already begun in heaven.
May our worship today reflect the eternal worship before His throne.
Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever.
Honor and Power Forever
The greatness of God is not temporary. His glory is not fading. His kingdom is not ending.
Scripture reveals a God who reigns throughout all generations. He alone possesses eternal honor, everlasting power, and unchanging dominion.
As we conclude the Global Day of Praise, we remember that worship is not only an event—it is a lifestyle.
The God we praise today will be worthy of praise forever.
May our hearts continually declare:
To Him be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
